Recently Thai embassy started e-visa for Bangladeshi tourist from Bangladesh. From December 24, The Thai embassy in Dhaka stop accepting applications through its four visa application centers and January 2, 2025, they started e-Visa.
For e-Visa they update their document policy and payment submit policy. Applicants will be able to fill out the application and upload the required documents on the website https://www.thaievisa.go.th without the need to submit their passports.
Document List:
- A passport that’s valid for at least six months after your arrival date
- Passport must have at least 2 blank pages to accommodate immigration stamps
- A completed visa application form
- Two color passport-sized photos (3.5 x 4.5cm), taken against a white background and within the past 6 months
- A confirmed travel itinerary, including return flights and accommodation bookings
- Sponsorship Letter, Bank Statement, Bank Solvency Certificate, Marriage Certificate and / or Proof of Relationship Certificate if required
- Proof of sufficient funds to cover expenses during your stay in Thailand (BDT 60,000 for individual and BDT 1,20,000 for family)
- An active email address, an active phone number
Payment process:
Payment must be made to the Thai embassy’s bank account via https://www.combank.net.bd/thaievisa, and a summary sheet of payment information must be uploaded for verification. Banks will not accept cash payments.
It usually takes 10 working days for an e-visa to be processed. The website provides detailed instructions on how to apply for a Thai e-visa.
